Only WE Can Prevent South Pole Fires

The volunteer fire department at the South Pole gathered for a season-end photo the other day. Many of these volunteers have graduated from the Red Rocks Fire Academy in Golden, Co. This schooling was a week in full fire fighter gear going into the same training structure that the pro's train in. Those of you who have been reading this blog since September 2007 will remember some of those photos.
