The first music festival of the year will be held this Saturday (Friday for those of you in North America) at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole station and YOU are invited! No, you can't be here physically to enjoy the party, but you can listen-in via AlGore's marvelous invention. Your humble bloggist will be performing with two of the 7 acts.
Here's what you have to do:
- Install this player (there is no other player that can receive the broadcast). Sorry, there is no player for Mac computers.
- Check this page on Friday (if you're on THAT side of the international date line) to find a link here-on that will automatically launch your player and you can listen-in to our event.
- Note: Due to bandwidth restrictions, a very limited number of people can tune-in. If you can't get in, keep trying as others may be dropping out.
- On the player that you must install, there is a button that says "EMAIL". You may click this at anytime to submit feedback on the event you are hearing.
The broadcast will begin April 26 at 5pm Saturday. This equates to:
- 9pm Friday in California (PDT)
- 12am Saturday in New York (EDT)
- 5am Saturday in London (GMT)
